The Magic Flute First Act Workshop

Bearitone the Opera Bear invites you to join him and his friends from San Francisco Opera for an afternoon of fun at Oakland’s Fairyland! Children will make their very own bird mask before embarking on a scavenger hunt through Fairyland in search of the famous bird catcher Papageno from Mozart’s The Magic Flute. Maybe he’ll even sing us a song! Next, we’ll gather in the Aesop’s Playhouse for songs, games, and a new story-adventure from Opera Land featuring everyone’s favorite, Opera Bear. Each child will receive a San Francisco Opera Goodie Bag, an invitation to join Opera Cubs-the official fan club of Bearitone the Opera Bear-and parents will receive a discount code for upcoming events at San Francisco Opera.

Please Note: Because Fairyland closes daily at 4pm, the time our workshop ends, we highly recommend families arrive early to make the most of their free all-day park admission!
