Where to Park
Multiple parking options are available within walking distance to the War Memorial Opera House. Get to the area early to make sure you give yourself ample time to park and get to the Opera House.
Civic Center Ambassadors wearing orange jackets will lead walking groups to the Civic Center and UC Law SF garages, 15 minutes after the conclusion of evening performances. They will be on the north side of the main entrance steps on Van Ness holding a sign.

Public Transportation
The War Memorial Opera House is a short walk from the Civic Center BART and MUNI stations as well as the Van Ness MUNI station. Bear in mind that parking in the Civic Center area can be limited, especially during performances.

By Car
Rideshare: Rideshare services typically pick-up and drop-off using the white loading zone at 301 Van Ness Avenue (located in front of the Opera House). The rideshare provider determines the specific pickup and dropoff location.
Taxi: Taxi pickup after the performance is at the Grove street entrance. Patrons are responsible for arranging their own taxi pickup.
Driving: For directions and up-to-date traffic reports, visit 511.org.
Bike: There are bicycle racks are located on Van Ness Avenue at Grove Street.
