Wagner’s four-opera cycle, Der Ring des Nibelungen, is one of the greatest creative accomplishments of humanity. Written over a period of 26 years, The Ring is an epic journey that takes us from the birth of the world to the destruction of the Gods and the heralding of a new world order. Continuing Music Director Eun Sun Kim’s exploration of the works of Wagner, and in Francesca Zambello’s highly acclaimed production, The Ring is an artistic experience like none other. San Francisco Opera looks forward to welcoming you to experience one of three cycles of The Ring in June 2028.

Once your order is placed, your credit card will be charged for your first requested choice. This is not a guarantee of seating. Seating will be assigned in late spring 2027. Seating priority is based upon subscription and contribution history, with great consideration given to contributions.
If your final seat assignment is your alternate choice, we will automatically refund or charge the difference due as appropriate. If we cannot seat you in any of your choices, we will contact you to discuss an alternate section, seat, cycle or a full refund.

Select a subscription that includes Das Rheingold. Then select a 2027-28 package that includes Die Walküre and add on the single performances of Siegfried and Götterdämmerung. Please note the single performance dates for Siegfried and Götterdämmerung will be announced in February 2027 with the season announcement and will be very limited.
