Opera à la Carte

The Magic Flute

Opera Together live for grades 4-12 -- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's The Magic Flute!

In this signature program that serves over 100 schools each year, students perform alongside professional artists in a 45-minute adaptation of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's classic opera. Masterfully designed for young audiences, the English-language production features four professional singers, one pianist, 12 of your own students in speaking and acting roles, and an optional student chorus of any size. Students memorize lines in advance, are coached by artists in a dress rehearsal, and then with props, scenery, and costumes, perform for their school. When all grades learn the chorus and read the story, Opera à la Carte becomes a community project— a chance for the entire school to sing together.
