La Traviata
Sat, Jan 30–Sun, Jan 31
One of Giuseppe Verdi’s most beloved operas returns, as we stream La Traviata.

Richard Tucker Award-winning tenor Stephen Costello stars as the besotted Alfredo Germont, a well-to-do young man who falls in love with a famous Paris courtesan — and she with him.

As the courtesan Violetta Valéry, soprano Nicole Cabell delivers a luminous performance of a woman who sacrifices her one chance at happiness in order to save her lover’s family from misery and heartbreak.

Romance awaits with La Traviata conducted by former music director Nicola Luisotti.
