Canadian soprano Rhoslyn Jones made her San Francisco Opera debut in 2006 as Frasquita in Carmen. More recent credits include the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro with Opera Santa Barbara, Musetta in La Bohème with Arizona Opera and Pittsburgh Opera, Tatyana in Eugene Onegin with Vancouver Opera, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with Chicago Opera Theater and the title role of Susannah with Arizona Opera. As a San Francisco Opera Adler Fellow from 2006 through 2007, Jones created the starring role of Julia Dent Grant in the Company’s world premiere of Philip Glass’ Appomattox. A frequent performer of concert repertoire, she has been director of the University of British Columbia Summer Vocal Workshop, on faculty at Sonoma State University, as well as an artist in residence at the San Francisco School of the Arts.
