In the summer of 2015, Kühnhold collaborated on the “Fidelio Project” at the Theatre Trier with Tilman Knabe, with whom she also staged her first play, The Big Shoot. Her most recent opera staging of The Diary of Anne Frank by Grigori Frid was performed last September as part of the Festival for Young Artists in Nürtingen. Later this season, Kühnhold stages the children’s opera Gold! by Leonard Evers at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe.
