Opera à la Carte

La Cenerentola

Bring the sights and sounds of opera to your school with an assembly featuring the performance of your own students alongside professional singers. The 45-minute adaptation of Rossini's telling of the Cinderella story reveals the heart of opera—an engaging story, brilliant music and lots of fun.

September 25–December 1, 2017

Student Participation

Ten students from grades 3–8 perform in brief speaking and acting roles. Actors must be chosen and lines memorized at least two weeks before the assembly. Schools can also include a chorus.

Information for Teachers

A designated school facilitator responsible for preparing students and confirming all details is required. Preliminary preparation and facilitator coaching begins in early September.

$425. Scholarships are available for qualifying schools.
