Take the stage this summer, singing your way through three weeks of non-stop opera and theater. From vocal coaching, acting and history to the final performance of an opera, there’s a distinctive role for everyone.
The average day is organized into two parts—three classes in the morning, plus a rehearsal block in the afternoon. Areas of study may include:
- Singing technique and interpretation
- Movement and dance
- Music and theater theory and history
- Scene work and character study
- Improvisation and audition techniques
- Speech and diction
Program includes a tour of the War Memorial Opera House and the opportunity to attend a San Francisco Opera final dress rehearsal.
