Performing Arts Connection: Spring Break for Middle Schoolers

A week-long program in which middle schoolers explore their creativity through music, dance, theater and video storytelling.

Fill your spring break with music, dance, theater and video storytelling! Discover and explore new art forms, hone current skills and inspire fresh creativity with students from all over the Bay Area.

Middle schoolers work with local artists and specialists from San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Ballet and American Conservatory Theater in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco Don Fisher Clubhouse to craft original works and produce a showcase for their families and the community. Who It's For

Middle school students ages 11–14 years old. Students of all backgrounds and abilities welcome, no prior experience necessary.

Application fee: $10
Tuition: $0-$290 for the week
Scholarships available, no student turned away for lack of funds.

The 2018 program is a collaboration between San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Ballet and A.C.T. in partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco Don Fisher Clubhouse.

Each day, a wholesome lunch will be provided.

Younger and older siblings are invited to join the programming at the Boys & Girls Club Don Fisher Clubhouse during the week of spring break. Plentiful classes and day-care are available for younger siblings during the hours of 8am–6pm. More information here.
