The BRAVO! CLUB Board of Directors are a group of volunteer leaders dedicated to fostering a community of arts lovers throughout the Bay Area as ambassadors of San Francisco Opera and arts advocates.

Xanadu Bruggers, President
Xanadu is an Executive Assistant and has a B.F.A. in theatre from Cornish College of the Arts. An active volunteer and a lover of dogs you can find her volunteering with Muttville and is an active member of the Spinsters of San Francisco. She is honored to be President and is excited to be collaborating with the board in making this a year to remember.
Nora Quattrin, Vice President of Membership
Nora is controller at Presidio Farms, a family owned and operated agricultural business based in California. She earned a M.A. in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art in New York and a B.A. in Cinematic Arts and Art History from the University of Southern California. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at the San Francisco Opera Archives and is a member of the Junior League of San Francisco.
Kristi Symon, Vice President of Events
Kristi is an Optometrist at Goodman Eye Center in Pacific Heights. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, and then completed a residency in the management of Ocular Disease at UC Berkeley. She earned a B.A. in Psychology at Pomona College. She loves to dance, and many weekends you can find her at Lake Tahoe skiing or spending time on the lake.
Lilian Chi Tsai, Communications Director
Lilian is a Senior Corporate Counsel for Oracle Corporation. She earned a B.A. in political science and a B.A. in mass communications from the University of California, Berkeley, and her law degree from American University. She is a board member for the Ninth Judicial Circuit Historical Society and a San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer. She has a passion for making the arts and the law more accessible to the public, and grew up playing piano, flute and violin.
Alex Jakle, Governance Chair
Alex is a consultant with Trial Behavior in San Francisco, working with attorneys to rigorously test and refine their case themes and arguments. He attended Pomona College and graduate school at the University of Michigan. When he isn't at the opera, he can be found cooking in his kitchen, running in the East Bay hills, or skiing anywhere there's snow.
Hillary is a resident physician at the University of California – San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Surgery who plans to pursue a career in abdominal transplant surgery. She received her M.D. degree from UCSF and graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in human biology. When not at the opera, she can be found traveling, running, and baking.
Keith works at Summit Public Schools and holds an LL.M. in European Union Business Law from the Universiteit van Amsterdam. A firm believer in giving back to the community, he has participated in Asylum and Veterans pro bono initiatives, and previously served as assistant clarinetist in the Greenwich Village Orchestra and as a soloist and principal clarinetist in the United States Army Europe Band & Chorus.
Arif is an investor at Conductive Ventures, an enterprise-focused venture capital fund in Palo Alto, where he works to enable SaaS and hardware startups to become long-term leaders in their sectors. He holds an MBA from Wharton Business School, MSc from Stanford University and MA from the University of Cambridge. In his spare time, he enjoys the occasional hike with friends, is seen frequently at the Opera house, and loves to experience new cultures and places.

Omar is a software engineer, currently developing computer vision technology at Amazon. Omar earned his Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. Outside of the opera, Omar enjoys dancing argentine tango, playing classical guitar, and re-watching The Sopranos.
Martha is the Director of Individual Giving at Stanford Law School, where she leads the Major Gifts and Annual Giving teams. She earned a BA from Princeton University in religion and theater. When not enjoying an opera or ballet at the War Memorial Opera House, she enjoys CrossFit, cooking, traveling, seeing plays and musicals, and spending time with her partner and their dog.
Caitlin works at the intersection of technology and innovation, designing new product experiences and building the future of brand engagement. Currently, Caitlin is the Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development at Creativity Incorporated, a product design and development studio specializing in consumer products such as animatronic toys, connected home devices, and immersive voice experiences.
Tyler is an electrical engineer with Cammisa and Wipf Consulting Engineers where he specializes in healthcare and campus infrastructure design. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.S in Electrical Engineering where he focused on power systems. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and eating good food.
Gaurav is a software engineer at Google, working to detect information security threats. He received an M.Eng. and S.B. from MIT, studying computer science and mathematics. Outside of opera, he enjoys puzzle hunts, traveling, and reading.
Philipp is the Global Head of Technology & Innovation at Tenthpin Management Consultants spearheading the transformation of the Life Science Industry into the next generation. He is German and was a Fulbright Scholar to the US from 2007-2010 in New York City. When not at the opera, he can be found traveling around the world collecting magnets, scuba diving, skiing, or just at home cooking for friends and family.
Claire works as a software engineer at Strava, building features on the server side to help athletes grow towards their goals. She received a B.S. from Cornell University in Information Science. She enjoys trail running and cross-country skiing.
