San Francisco Opera Guild is excited to expand in-classroom, in-theater, and community programming for the 2025-26 school year and beyond. We believe that musical storytelling bridges cultural divides and that every voice should be heard. Residencies Teaching Artists

Summary: San Francisco Opera Guild’s 12-week Residencies Book to Bravo! and Voices for Social Justice allow students to co-create original operas with experienced teaching artists. We’re currently accepting applications for the Music Director/Composer position and the Director/Playwrite position.

Summary: San Francisco Opera Guild is currently seeking experienced teaching artists for 3 roles in our collaborative, in-school production of Rossini's The Barber of Seville. Auditions will be held in May 2025.

Summary: San Francisco Opera Guild is seeking qualified and reliable volunteers for fall 2025 to work as docents in the premier program, Opera Together. This is a wonderful opportunity to see students light up while performing alongside professional artists, and to contribute to the magic that only music and drama can bring.
