Duggan, Jamielyn
Jamielyn is a multidisciplinary, native San Franciscan artist rooted in contemporary performance and visual design, creatively spanning two decades as a mixed form professional dancer, fashion designer, choreographer, model and actress. This has led her to co-found, direct and perform with the movement agency Collective Attention, which produces film and live, performance art collaborations designed for non-traditional settings.
After training on full scholarship at San Francisco Ballet with professional development through Jacob's Pillow, Alonzo King's LINES ballet and SF Conservatory of Dance, she has been a notable member of Oakland Ballet, Amy Seiwert's Imagery and Dance Theatre of San Francisco. Her guest artist engagements include West Edge Opera, Diablo ballet, LA Opera, San Diego Opera and La Grandes ballet de Canadians.
As a tenured member of the San Francisco Opera Dance Corps, performance highlights include Madeline Usher in Gordon Getty's Usher House, Manuelita in Carmen and the Sacrificial Virgin in Samson and Delilah.
Concurrently, she is grateful to share her expanding artistic practices as creative director of Eimaj Design, with focus on non-binary inspired action that is shaped to be seen.
