Finch, Mary

Mary Finch has been a member of the San Francisco Opera Chorus for eleven years. Her past Company appearances include Gabrielle (La Rondine), the First Bridesmaid (The Marriage of Figaro), a Shepherd Boy (Tosca), and a Cretan Maiden (Idomeneo); she also created the role of Chang’s First Wife in The Bonesetter’s Daughter last season. Other career highlights include Monica (The Medium) at Opera Illinois, Mrs. Gobineau (The Medium) with Circle Theatre of Chicago, and the Dew Fairy (Hansel and Gretel) with the Texas Gilbert and Sullivan Company. Finch served as a member of Lyric Opera of Chicago’s supplementary chorus and is a past district winner of the regional Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
