Baritone
Baritone David Kekuewa, a native of Honolulu, began singing with the San Francisco Opera Chorus in 1994 and became a member of the Regular Chorus in 1999. He has performed with the Company in the roles of the Imperial Commissioner (Madama Butterfly), Sciarrone (Tosca), Jacob (The Ballad of Baby Doe), a Farmhand (Pagliacci), Schobiack (Le Grand Macabre), and a Sergeant (Manon Lescaut), among others. His regional and local opera company roles include Belcore (L'Elisir d'Amore), Marcello (La Bohème), the four villains (The Tales of Hoffman), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Count Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro), Marullo (Rigoletto), Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) and Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor).
