In addition to being a Regular Chorus member at San Francisco Opera 2020-22, in 2022, she also performed Sister St. Charles in Dialogues of the Carmelites and covered Flower/Lady 3/Solo Maid in Dream of the Red Chamber at San Francisco Opera, and performed 3rd Lady/Papagena in The Magic Flute with San Francisco Opera Guild.

Upcoming, Courtney will be performing in the 3340 Recital Series, with San Francisco Renaissance Voices, and with Pocket Opera.

Other career highlights include Olga in Eugene Onegin and Mercédès in Carmen with Florida Grand Opera; Hannah in The Passenger with Detroit Opera; Meg in Little Women with Madison Opera; Mrs. Ford in Sir John in Love with Odyssey Opera; Dryade in Ariadne auf Naxos and Meg Page in Falstaff with Virginia Opera; and Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro with Opera Saratoga.

A lover of new music, Courtney created the role of Mina Miller Edison in Tesla with SoBe Arts, portrayed characters like Sister Helen in Dead Man Walking and the Wind in Philip Glass’s opera-ballet The Witches of Venice, and workshopped opera with American Lyric Theater.

Courtney’s opera awards include New England Regional Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, Second Place in the 2015 Lois Alba Aria Competition, and in 2016 she won the Concorso Lirico Internazionale “Anita Cerquetti” in Montecosaro, Italy.
