Sarah Tucker

2015–16 Season: Jano in Jenůfa 

Making her San Francisco Opera debut, soprano Sarah Tucker was a national semifinalist in the 2014 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and just completed her second year as a member of the Arizona Opera Studio where she appeared as Micaëla in Carmen, Rosalba in Florencia en el Amazonas, and Zerlina in Don Giovanni. She will soon make her debut at Opera Philadelphia, where she will reprise the role of First Memory in Lembit Beecher’s War Stories: I Have No Stories to Tell You, which she first premiered with Gotham Chamber Opera at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Tucker is a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati College‐Conservatory of Music (CCM). She will appear this fall as Micaëla in Utah Opera’s production of Carmen.
