Pianist Ronny Michael Greenberg, a third year San Francisco Opera Adler Fellow, has been heard in opera houses and concert halls around the world. Recently he was featured on the War Memorial Stage with San Francisco Ballet performing Valses Poéticos by Granados as part of their 2017 Season Opening Gala. His performance experience includes guest soloist appearances with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, concerts at Steinway Hall, the Schubert Hall at the Vienna Konzerthaus, and the Canadian Museum of Civilization for the Glenn Gould Exhibit. Since arriving in the Bay Area, he has performed for the David Gockley Gala Celebration Dinner, the Human Rights Watch, the ‘Do List’ at KQED, ChamberWorks, Noe Valley Chamber Music, Musica Marin, and LiederAlive. As a participant of the 2014 Merola Opera Program, he coached the world premiere of A Streetcar Named Desire (reduced orchestration) and Don Giovanni. Mr. Greenberg offically will join San Francisco Opera's music staff this summer and will contribute on Verdi’s Rigoletto and in the fall on Turandot and La Traviata. He holds a Masters from the Yale School of Music and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Vocal Accompaniment from Manhattan School of Music.
