San Francisco Opera Guild’s An Evening on the Stage gala dinner honors Karen J. Kubin and Mary and Bill Poland on Tuesday, November 28 at the War Memorial Opera House. The honorees will receive The Crescendo Award, bestowed by the Guild upon individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary support to the Guild and San Francisco Opera. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the black-tie benefit offers over 250 guests the opportunity to dine on the historic War Memorial Opera House stage.

To inaugurate San Francisco Opera’s second century, the Company and San Francisco Opera Guild jointly present Opera Ball on Friday, September 8, 2023. This festive evening, titled The Elixir of Opera, includes a reception, dinner and after-party in San Francisco’s City Hall along with a celebratory Opening Night Concert in the War Memorial Opera House. 

San Francisco Opera Guild and Neiman Marcus San Francisco present a benefit luncheon and fashion show of the Marchesa Fall 2023 Collection on May 4, 2023, with a special appearance by Marchesa Co-Founder and Designer Georgina Chapman.

San Francisco Opera Guild’s An Evening on the Stage gala dinner honored mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade and composer Jake Heggie on Tuesday evening, November 29, at the War Memorial Opera House. Von Stade and Heggie each received The Crescendo Award, bestowed by the Guild upon individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary support to the Guild and San Francisco Opera.

San Francisco Opera Guild and Neiman Marcus San Francisco present a luncheon and fashion show of the Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall and Fall Winter 2022 Collections on May 11, 2022, with a special appearance by Carolina Herrera Creative Director Wes Gordon.

San Francisco Opera Guild will present a complimentary virtual livestream event Life. Changing. An Evening with Frederica von Stade & Jake Heggie on Wednesday, April 28, 202. Flicka, Jake, and San Francisco Opera Guild students, alumni and teachers will share inspiring stories and uplifting songs, while celebrating music’s power to change lives. 

Now in its seventh year, the annual An Evening on the Stage gala dinner honors philanthropists Carol and Dixon Doll on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. The sold-out benefit offers 300 guests the opportunity to dine on the War Memorial Opera House stage, surrounded by set pieces from the Company’s final mainstage production of 2019, composer Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel.
