Opera in an Hour Film Festival: The Magic Flute for Families

The story of a prince and a bird catcher’s journey to rescue a beautiful princess. Along the way they find their true loves and discover wisdom and forgiveness. Film screenings are FREE!

Special guest Svetlana Nikitenko (The Queen of the Night) will be present to introduce the film and sign autographs.


Opera in an Hour Film Festival: The Barber of Seville for Families

In this classic opera, Figaro, Seville's favorite barber, helps two young lovers find their happily everafter. Join them in a series of disguises, tricks and comic twists and turns.


Opera in an Hour Film Festival: Cinderella for Families

Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2:30PM

With an open heart and determination, Cinderella triumphs over her mean-spirited relatives. The opera is sung in Italian with English subtitles.


A 15-minute live introduction precedes each movie screening. Seating is first-come, first-served. The one-hour movie versions are produced by the Education Department for Bay Area schools and groups.

Craft-making activities will occur throughout the day.

Snacks will be available at concessions for $2 (cash only).
