Orpheus at San Francisco Opera

Orpheus at San Francisco Opera is a group of young donors (ages 18 to 40) who are passionate about opera in the Bay Area and want to invest in it. Throughout the year, members receive benefits and experience exclusive opportunities designed to bring them closer to this art form, as well as connect them with other young opera lovers.

Double your impact: Members receive a matching gift (generously sponsored by Ben & Marina Nelson, as well as additional support from Soo & Raj Venkatesan and the Koret Foundation), bringing them up to the $3,000 Founder level of the Medallion Society.

Great Perks: Join us for networking opportunities with fellow young opera fans, private luncheons with artistic staff, backstage tours and VIP seating at events like Opera at the Ballpark. Additionally, you will receive the following benefits:

  • Complimentary membership to BRAVO! CLUB
  • Exclusive access to the Medallion Society Concierge Ticketing Service
  • All ticket exchange fees waived
  • Invitation to the Medallion Society Luncheon, Meet the Adlers event, and the Annual Meeting
  • Opportunity to purchase reserved parking at the Performing Arts Garage for subscription series dates
  • Invitation to three Final Dress Rehearsals
  • San Francisco Opera Season Preview CD set—General Director David Gockley narrates the season's repertory and musical selections from each production
  • Complimentary access to Opera Guild Insights—informal presentations by the season’s artists, conductors and production staff
  • Behind the Curtain—San Francisco Opera's donor newsletter
  • Complimentary Opera House tour for two
  • Program Book acknowledgment
