The perfect opera for families and new operagoers of all ages, La Bohème for Families is a specially priced matinee of this exciting production sung in Italian with English supertitles and narration. A much beloved opera, Bohème is a fusion of high-spirited fun and poignant tragedy about struggling artists falling in and out of love in 19th-century Paris. This family-friendly performance is presented with full orchestra and chorus and has been shortened by a few minutes to allow time for the narration. Recommended for children age 7 and older.
San Francisco Opera's Education Department will offer Family Workshops
preceding each performance of La Bohème for Families.
The Café at the Opera House will not be open prior to the La Bohème for Families
matinee performances. All other concessions and services will be open.
Childrens ticket prices range from $15 – $50.
Adult ticket prices range from $30 – $100.
Sung in Italian with English supertitles and English narration.
