Operatic Doggie Diary!
A life on the road can get lonely from time to time. Brian Jagde, our Pinkerton in this summer's Madame Butterfly, is no exception to the rule. Thankfully he has his trusty companian Cav with him where ever he goes! Brian most recently appeared on the San Francisco Opera stage in our 2012 production of Tosca. Where has Brian and Cav been since? Let's find out in our Operatic Doggie Diary!

Starting in fall 2012 - I was singing Cavaradossi in Tosca here at San Francisco Opera. Here we are, post-show (I'm still in my costume). This photo was taken right after I had gotten Cav!

Here are two cute ones from Orlando, FL - Spring 2013. I was there singing Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly with the Orlando Philharmonic.

Then we were back to San Francisco in the Summer of 2013 where I covered the title role in The Tales of Hoffmann.

Below are two from Ischia, Italy where I was studying with my voice teacher and enjoying some much needed rest and relaxation last July, 2013.

The next photo pretty much defines Cav and I on the road. Our shadows as we walk all over Rome, Italy just after we had left Ischia, Italy in August of 2013.

Then we were off to Prague in early August 2013, for a quick visit before I had a concert in the northern Czech Republic.

(I call this one Cav's headshot!!)

We left the Czech Republic for the georgous island of Santorini for some more R&R and vocal study with my teacher (A singer is always learning). Cav loved playing on the rocky beaches of Santorini!

Below is from our hotel room in Limoges, France where I was singing Carmen this past January, 2014.

Finally, these two were taken just after having won the Zachary Award in Los Angeles last month, May, 2014.

Where will this operatic duo end up next? In San Francisco where Brian is currently singing Pinkerton in our summer production of Madame Butterfly! Make sure to snap a pic if you see this adorable pup playing in one of the many parks of San Francisco this summer, and don't miss Madame Butterfly starring Brian Jagde!
