The City’s Most Magical Evening
Please join General Director David Gockley and San Francisco Opera Guild for the opening night of San Francisco Opera's 87th Season.
Hailed as one of the City’s most magical evenings of the year, Opera Ball 2009 benefits San Francisco Opera and San Francisco Opera Guild’s education and programs that annually reach 50,000 young people and adults.
This highly anticipated tradition begins with a cocktail reception at 5:00 p.m. in the War Memorial Veterans Building. Immediately following the Opening Night performance of Verdi's masterful Il Trovatore, guests are ushered to City Hall for a a sumptuous gourmet dinner, dancing and further celebration.
