Recorded live between Acts II and III of Peter Grimes in 1976, Canadian tenor Jon Vickers talks with radio presenter Scott Beach about his passion for the moral integrity of Britten's opera and his vehement opposition to the moral tenets of Wagner's philosophy. Vickers' numerous roles with SFO included Siegmund (Die Walküre) in 1963, 1969 and 1973.
