Morgan Deveaux Robinson has worked at San Francisco Opera since 2006. Since starting she has had the pleasure of assisting many talented directors including Laurent Pelly (La Fille du Régiment), Francesca Zambello (Little Prince and Die Walküre), and Jose Maria Condemi (Elixir of Love for Families, Tosca, and Madama Butterfly). She has also assistant directed at Boston Lyric and Chicago Opera Theater, where she remounted Three Decembers with Frederica von Stade. Before moving to San Francisco, Morgan lived in New York City where she worked on many new plays including directing Untitled by Arthur Kopit for Brooklyn Rep. In NYC she also worked for Recorded Books Inc., where she directed over 30 audiobooks.
