Lucrecia Garcia

Venezuelan soprano Lucrecia Garcia makes her San Francisco Opera debut in a role she recently performed at Milan’s La Scala and Seattle Opera. Career highlights include the title role of Aida at Paris Opera, the Arena di Verona, Seattle Opera, and in Athens and Madrid; Elisabetta (Don Carlo) and Amelia (Un Ballo in Maschera) with Frankfurt Opera; Elisabetta at Deutsche Oper Berlin; the title role of Norma in Salerno; Amalia (I Masnadieri) in Naples; and Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte) at the Palacio de Festivales de Santander and at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid. On the concert stage, she has performed with the Orquesta Nacional de Espana, la Real Orquesta de Sevilla, Orquesta de Radio Televisiòn Espanola, Sinfonica de Galicia, Sinfonica Venezuela, Sinfonica de Santo Domingo, and Sinfonica del Principado Asturias. Garcia’s upcoming appearances include engagements with Paris Opera, Berlin State Opera, La Scala, and in Palermo, Frankfurt, and Tokyo.
