Andrew Craig Brown

American bass-baritone Andrew Craig Brown makes his San Francisco Opera debut this summer as Doctor Grenvil (La Traviata). His recent engagements include Achilla (Julius Caesar) and Colline (La Bohème) with English National Opera, Paolo Albiani (Simon Boccanegra) and Duke Ramiro (Maria Padilla) at Warsaw’s Beethoven Easter Festival, and Chick (Wonderful Town) with Milan’s La Verdi Orchestra. On the concert stage, Brown has been a soloist with the Pasadena Symphony, New Haven Symphony Orchestra, and the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, among others. He is a graduate of Yale University.
