San Francisco Opera Educator and Family Resource Materials
The San Francisco Opera Education Department provides resource materials and plenty of ideas for teachers to connect dress rehearsals and Opera DVDs for Schools to their curriculum – for multiple learning goals of Grade K through 12 students. San Francisco Opera Guild Educator Resource Materials
Supplementary educational materials are designed to be used by teachers in the classroom, as preparation for their students’ experience with opera. Guides include synopsis, composer/librettist histories, thematic information, classroom discussion prompts and activities, and opera basics.
