San Francisco City Hall
Opera Guild Event
Dear Friends of the Opera Guild,
Happy New Year! We are delighted to announce that Neiman Marcus Union Square will join San Francisco Opera Guild to welcome acclaimed designer Jason Wu
to San Francisco on Thursday, March 21, 2013. City Hall’s North Light Court will be the dramatic backdrop for this premiere runway show highlighting Mr. Wu’s Fall 2013 Collection.
This is the first time Mr. Wu has presented his collection in San Francisco! Mr. Wu debuted his first Ready-to-Wear Collection in 2006 and has since emerged as one of the leading global talents in the fashion world. His unique and distinctive esthetic blends American sportswear with old world sophistication creating an immaculately tailored look with a supremely feminine and modern sensibility. Our glamorous evening will begin with an elegant champagne reception; guests will then enjoy a spectacular runway show, followed by cocktails, a festive buffet and dancing.
Runway seating is limited and this exclusive event is certain to fill to capacity early; therefore, we encourage you and your guests to secure reservations in advance by using the form
or purchase tickets online by clicking here
. Reservations at the Sponsor level received by February 6, 2013 will be included in the printed invitation.
Proceeds from this very special evening will directly support San Francisco Opera Guild’s award-winning music education programs, which have served children in Bay Area schools for 70 years. Annually, more than 50,000 students in over 200 schools throughout Northern California receive the benefits of arts education as only opera can deliver them. Your participation ensures that San Francisco Opera Guild will continue our tradition of introducing children to the beauty and excitement of opera.
We are thrilled to partner with Neiman Marcus and Jason Wu to bring you this dazzling event and hope you and your friends will join us on March 21, 2013. We wish you and your families a prosperous New Year, and look forward to seeing you, and Jason Wu, in March!
